anyone have the dell 248wfp? Need some help setting colors and such

I lowerest brightness to 35% and lowered contrast to around 35% from factory settings. I checked it out on some calibration sites and found it was great. I then compared it side by side to my Samsung 216BW which is one of the best TN panels and it looked far better than it. I spent hours calibrating the 216BW to be perfect and here this little Dell TN panel blew it away.

Also, though, keep in mind that the eyes adapt to certain settings in a relatively short period of time. This means that colors are quite subjective, in fact. If it looks good to you, then it looks good, just something to keep in mind.

How is the response time on that monitor when it comes to games and such? I was thinking about getting one.

its great i went from a 8ms lcd to this 5ms. both seemed good but this one does seem better.

But i am having one problem with this monitor, I first used it on a VGA connection and had to set the position to the right from 50 to 52. Now on my DVI the position setting is blacked out but it is at 50 but to much to the right. I have to do a factory position reset every time the monitor turns off. Anyone know how to fix this permanently?
