Ok, I have never owned a digital camera and I am about to buy this one. Does anyone own it and care to tell me anything about it? I looked it up at review places and it seems like a nice camera. Is there anything in particular about it I should know? I am not looking for tons of features but I suppose they would be nice. I am much more of a point-and-click shooter...
Thanks...

Hi,

I have it for about 1 month now . Love it . Taking great shot outside & inside . It is very easy to operate . However, you need a good
set of rechargable batteries ( get the Maha charger & AA at Newegg ) and larger CF . My 128 CF seems to hold more than 200 pix , more than enough for me in one day shooting . Sometimes its autofocus is slow and I missed some of the shot due to this delay ( it is not as fast as a SLR !!! ) and the LCD is hard to see in full sun but 99 % of the shots are coming great in color saturation & sharp . The include software are basic and good work under Win 98 SE & XP pro . The mini movie mode is also fun and handy for sending them as email . In short, you won't regret for less than $300 . We love this jewel and use it every day .
