I'm looking to buy an electric head shaver with the #1, #2, and #3 etc. clips. I was wondering if anyone out here could suggest a good / not too expensive one. Thanks!

I use a cheap $20 from Fred Meyer... worked great for my beard so far... 'course, it's a beard trimmer. :D

I always used the $15 Oster from K-Mart when I used to shave my head. They work fine and last quite a while.

I bought a Remington hair/beard clipper kit for $25 and haven't paid for a hair-cut in 4 years (used once every month). The 'teeth' of the clipper blades aren't as fine as those found on some other brands such as Oster, but are a bit more aggressive. It has a 3 position clipper guard to set your length.

My only complaint is that the guard doesn't securely 'lock' into position when it is set at any length other than the shortest. So occassionally, if you are buzzing your head, the guard will 'slip' to a shorter position from pressing the unit too firmly against your head. I fixed that by Super Gluing the guard on to the clippers at the position I always use.
