Anyone have Rosewill cases?

I have heard good things of Rosewill cases, but I personally am skeptical.

Anyone have any first hand experience with them?

I was always hesitant to buy a Rosewill product because of the name and logo, it just looks like a 1970s band logo so I wondered about how much time they must be putting into their products (even though I know they're just rebadged).

I think Zepper has 1 or 4. He's the one you need to talk to about Rosewill cases.
From what i've read though (& Zepper may correct me), the 56xx series are fine cases for the money.

I have one, it's a nice case but flimsier than a tin can. It was also only $15 shipped w/o PSU so I can't complain.

Most model series of Rosewill (an in-house packager operated by Newegg) PC cases are low line cheapies (as mentioned above) and not for serious hobbyists, but there are a couple of model series that are much better than average. The R560x series is my favorite of those. I have written a review that I can show you how to get to if you're interested. The R6A_____ (basically the same chassis as the legendary Antec SLK3000), R6X______ (a variant on the R6A) and the Conqueror (basically the same as the Silverstone PS01, and Kublai 01/02 but doesn't have the fancy drive cage of the Kublai series) are better than your run of the mill boxes. They also had a case series that was interesting because it was very compact for a case that could hold an ATX mobo because it mounted the PSU in the lower front, but I don't see it any more. It wasn't of the quality of the others I mentioned, but if you needed a really small ATX box (it was the RZS series and you can see it at the "Rosewill" site)... Maybe there's somewhere else than Newegg to buy one, but I doubt it (except for some Mom&Pop stores or eBay).

Thanks for the reference, Tull. If wheelz are your deal, then Tullphan's yer man...;-)

Thanks for the info Zepper. I like the idea of buying direct from the manufacturer (NewEgg) it seems you can get better value for the dollar.

Neither Rosewill nor Newegg manufactures anything. For example. YeongYang does the R560x, Chenming or Casetek does the R6A/X and whoever makes the chassis for Silverstone also makes the Conqueror. Rosewill just has them packaged under their label (I've seen the same chassis under other brands (perhaps Xion) as well) - there is still two levels of profit in there... Luckily Newegg does a large enough volume it can cut a good deal with the OEMs.
