Anyone Have Probs with Onboard Sound on MSI K7T Turbo?

Hello,
All is well at 1500MHZ with a 1GIG Athlon, but I can't get the onboard sound up and running. It is enabled in the bios, it is recognised as being there by Win ME, but I can't get it working. If I try to install the drivers from the MSI CD, the machine immediately locks. If never locks in any other situation.

Any Helps?

Maybe you can try the 1.20A driver from viahardware under AC97 Audio Drivers. I had no problems installing the audio drivers from the cd though. Hope this helps.

Well it really depends on your os. If you are running win98se, install the win98 drivers, and not the win98se. for win98, use the win98 drivers. for winme I think it was a winme driver, if not use the win98 driver there as well. I had some problems with the 111b and 120a with pro2a, so I swithced to the 108 drivers (found here)
