it's all stock right now... it should be at 1.86, but instead, it's reading at 1.6 (sometimes, it changes to 1.86 with a 7 multi, but then goes right back to 6 multi at 1.6ghz)

Uh, is that using some kind of a power management scheme? I have an AMD A64 and the multiplier drops to x5 when Cool N' Quiet is enabled (using the Minimal Power Management scheme in Control Panel). Does this have to do with C1E and EIST?
