I was just reading that too. Today's USA Today?

I haven't been diagnosed as such, in fact I haven't got to the doctor yet, but it's sound like what I've got too.

No, actually I didn't see it in the paper. I was reading up on it here.

I've had this terrible foot pain since I started playing volleyball again after a 7 yr hiatus. In the piece, it specifically mentions footpain in the morning and volleyball as symptoms.

Thanks for the link. I'll read it through more thoroughly later.

For me, it's left foot only. Pain in my heel area that is greatly reduced when I'm not on my feet. Hurts both standing and walking, although standing is often times worse. I'm on my feet all day too at work which is of course no help.

If I sit down and put my foot up and flex my ankle to sort of "stretch" my foot, the pain radiates up through what I assume must be my Plantar Fascia.

I wouldn't classify my pain as severe, but it's real bothersome. When standing I am contantly shifting my weight around trying to releive the pain.

I'm overweight which is no help I know. I wear very good quality work shoes and Avia tennies made for walking most of the other time. The Avia's are the only shoes I have found that fit my wide foot correctly.

I need to go see a foot doctor, but I am just so darn good at putting off a doctor visit. :)

Yep, I've got it. Walking sucks. Buying shoes sucks. Running is out of the question.
