i know its a long shot. its just that paying $5 shipping on a $2 part always rubs me the wrong way. 😛

i'll be happy to send you a fan, a 4 pin splitter, whatever in return. and shipping of course.

actually, as i type this i'm thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a "DC i wanna" thread but i'm just a noob so what do i know, lol.
 
yes, wife is currently using one in her machine to power her 7800GT.

EDIT: I was worried about using the 430w Seasonic on her machine, but it worked perfectly fine. The 430 doesn't have the SLI connector, but the 500 does.
 
i'm glad to hear that. the psu i'm trying is basically the same, just an oem version with a bit higher efficiency. i'll be interested to see if it can carry the load.
