Anyone have one eye that's much weaker than the other?

So my left eye is somewhat nearsighted, but my right eye is way worse. My left one is measured at about 30/20, while my right one is about 140/20.

And while we're on the subject, is it possible to have vision better than 20/20?

My left eye is really crappy. I've never had it measured. I close my right eye and I go blind. Tried glasses - but they made me so darn sick I said screw that. The glasses felt like someone was pulling my eye socket inside out. I'd rather have crappy vision that "EVER" feel like that again. I think the cause of mine is an astigmatism.

My eyes are pretty close, but one is slightly worse than the other. My dad has very uneven eyesight, though.

And yeah, you can have vision better than 20/20. Even corrective lenses can produce better-than-20/20 vision.

Every now and then, my right eye produces blurry vision, which is slightly annoying.

I have one eye a good deal worse than the other. I've worn glasses since I was three.

Yes it is perfectly possible to have vision better than 20/20

I can't remember exactly how the units work in the US but in the UK we use 6/6 (exactly the same as 20/20) where you can resolve an image of height 6 cm at a distance of 6 metres therefore 6/5 is an image of 5 cm at 6 metres and 6/4 is 4cm and so on and so on

it's all down to the resolving power of your eye, the record I believe was set in the 1800's when a woman was able to resolve an object with a height of 1 cm at a distance of one mile, almost as good as an eagles eyesight...

My left eye was tested at 20/10 vision when I was a kid. I was running around the corner of our garage and the neighbor was carrying a pan of car fluids from his oil/antifreeze/brake fluid change he had just conducted. I ran into him as I rounded the corner and it all poured into my face and got in my eyes. The doctors flushed my eyes and tested my vision at that time and my left eye was 20/10 and my right eye was 20/20.
