I'm trying to find some cheaps GPS system to track my car and maybe my laptop and the older versions seem to be really cheap. Would it be viable to use these for tracking stuff? Thanks!

I use IGuidance on mine. Works pretty well but I need an update. The database is getting outta date.

Use Streets and Trips and a CF GPS that I use in my PPC as well. works great if you have room (RV or larger type vehicle). I drive a toyota so I usually just stick with the PPC & TomTom combo.

For tracking stuff, yeah, Streets and Trips will work.

I've got streets and trips, its is kind of hard to use if your driving, but if a passenger uses it it works great.

Agreed. S&T is not very good if you're alone. Even if you have a passenger it can be a bit of a pain to walk them through things if they're not familiar with the software.
