I recently visited a friend's [printmaking] studio and saw some Lista workbenches. Holy shit. Talk about nice.
Anyways my current set up is pretty much cobbled together from various pieces of furniture and serves triple duty as a computer desk, work bench and also an 'artist's studio' whenever I need it to. I looked into an Arlink7000 measured at 60x36x30.
So I'm wondering how heavy these things are? Is it possible to disassemble them when I move (this is almost assuredly my last place until I get a house) fairly easily? What kind of work surface is going to be best for me? Anything else I should know?
I actually created a new thread for this because it's a pretty expensive toy to have. I'm looking at $450 for just the basic bench. I know it's worth it but still...
