ATI's driver's may not be perfect, but neither is nVidia's. I've noticed several posts about the Det40 driver's and peoples problems with them. I'm just glad ATI's there for the competition, or we'd all be taking it up the butt for nv30 (whenever it gets here)
Also kudos to the dad's. At least there taking care of their business....

I know Im getting in late on this thread, but the NV30 is using a new core and is likely to carry a new name (not GeForce). These solid drivers have been using the same basic core for the for quite sometime with the GeForce line, which helps considerably in knocking out bugs and attaining strong stability. This new core will require brand new drivers, and issues will likely occur with the release of the NV30.
