With the claimed specs of 62cfm at 16db they'll be my new favorite fan if they can actually deliver so, anyone have any or have a link to someone with one, I couldn't find anything. I personally find it nearly impossible to believe but....

TT is infamous for exaggerating the performance (and understating the noise level) of their fans.

Which is exactly why I asked if anyone had any personal experience with one. I understand that manufacturers specs are at roughly one meter with the fan in the open air, ie no grills or filters to simulate real world performance.

I have no direct experience with this fan, but the similar design mounted on my old "Silent Boost" heatsink was much louder than TT specs.

edit: which is what I tried to imply with my previous smart aleck reply.

would love to have tried one on my cpu heatsink if they were 2 sided versus take air away, only.

I have a very hard time actually using newegg reviews to make a decision. They're so vague and rely more on peoples perspective than anything concrete. I was hoping in one of the [Sarcasm]many[/Sarcasm] fan reviews on the web.

yeah, did a search for conventional reviews..while i like informed reviews..people are people to me and i value users opinions like on new egg. usually you can read if it's an informed intelligent opinion..or if it's someone who simply doesn't know diddly about computers🙂
