So our first child is on the way and we are exploring options to help out with their secondary education and perhaps with something else later on in life like a house or business.
We have been exploring some options like a 529 savings plan or a CESA.
However, I kind of like the concept of the Kiss Trust because we can put everything into one pot of money and specify how we would like it distributed later on in the child's life. Plus, as a trust, the money cannot be counted as an asset.
Does anyone have experience with these Kiss Trusts? What are the upside and downside of each?
