good pirnter, but for some odd reason it flucates in price alot. When it first came out, this cost $99....then it went up to $149....then $179....then back down to $149....now back down to $129.

I have the older version, 1012, on a USR print server. Probably one of the better purchases I've made as far as computer stuff goes. I got the lowest end laser, but it has served me amazingly well.

i paid $110 CDN for it...thats not a very good price.

anyway, its sitting beside me. i really like it, it has a very quick spool up, quiet operation and fast prints for its price range. the only downside i've seen about twice is it'll claim there's no paper so you got to shove on the paper in the tray to get it to recognize it.

it kicks the CRAP out of my moms cheap samsung laser printer. that thing is so loud, so slow to spool up and so friggen stinky.

we have several older 1010 models and one of these. I prefer the older 1010 myself, but they are all decent.

Don't know but you should look into how easily you can refill the toner if you'd like to save yourself a lot of money since replacing the actual toner cartridge can be very expensive.

I have the 1022. I've had no luck getting it to work with a linksys USB print server.
