Hey,
I am going to be building a new system here in the next few weeks and have been considering purchasing a custom system from Monarch Computers. Monarch will build a custom system for you (which you can tweak and specify down to the last detail) build it, test it and give you a three year warrently on all of the parts for about $100 over the price of the components.
Now I usually build my systems by hand, however it seems that most of the time I always end up with a bad CPU, MB, RAM, etc. There always seems to be one component that doesn't work right and I have to spend hours trying to diagnose the problem and then return the part. Since Monarch will put everything together and test it for you, plus offer a 3 year warrenty on all the part, it seems like a very smart way to go. You still get to put together a completely custom system, but you don't have to deal with the headaches of bad components.
Does anyone have experience with doing this through Monarch or another company?
Thanks!
