Anyone Have experience with LCDs?

I really want to put a LCD in my computer to make it look jazzy and cool. I do not have any electricity experience. Does anyone have one of the setups from CrystalFontz? They look soooo freakin' cool!

Any advice?

Looks cool, wanted to do one myself, but haven't really found to much calling for them around here. I got some links back at the house that might help, i'll send'um when i can.

Was going to say and try looking around Virtual hideout, but i haven't see there site up for a while.

OCMod.com has a tutorial for the parallel LCDs. The serial LCDs are really simple to use though. Just plug it in, no soldering or anything involved. The serial LCDs are also more expensive
