Anyone have experience with Dell LCD TV's ?

First and foremost how is the picture quality ? I have a dell Flat Panel and I love it. I would hope that the LCD TV's are high quality.

Any input is appreciated...

Also do they have any coupons similar to what they do for huge sales for laptops and so forth ?

I only have the dell 19" lcd .. since xmas 2004. Its decent, sound is not very loud.. pic is good. Big difference from coax -> svhs - > component !

The only thing i dont like is some of the config menus.. need to hit a few to get what you want. I couldn't get the universal remote to program on the cable box.. they said try philips.. but didin't work...

the lcd 30 might have louder sound. Anything else you like to know ?

I am mostly concerned with the picture quality...I don't have all that much experience in judging a monitor, just kind of go on how good it looks and so forth...

We have gone and shopped for some...for instance you go to Sam's Club and check out some of the LCD and Plasma TV's which are affordable...but the picture quality sucks balls...looks worse than my regular 10 year old Sony Trinitron...

Or you go to a higher end store but the price is then 2,000 dollars for the same thing and the picture quality is nice...but we can't afford that coin for a new living room TV.

The Dell LCD TV's seem like a decent deal, and I have been pleased with all the LCD monitors I have seen from Dell...and the FP 2001 that I own is been a very good monitor to me...

I would assume or hope that the TV's are just as good....and the price is nice also...


Do they have coupons for the TV sales that are out there on the net to get a couple hundered bucks off ?

An LCD monitor will have better picture quality than an LCD TV, especially when using component.

I use the lcd tv as a monitor also.. the res on my 19" is 1280x768.. it is sharp as hell and very bright... but i think the panel are probably from different manufacture.. since dell uses multiple sources
