Anyone have experience with Beer of the Month Clubs?

I'm considering getting a friend of mine a Beer of the Month club subscription, but there are multiple clubs out there.

Which ones have you guys had good experience with?

Buy/send him a care package instead. Even the best/cheapest clubs don't really offer anything rare or at any kind of bargain. Check the beerfly over at beeradvocate, & find the best shops near you. Like me, you might have to go into either Brooklyn or Manhattan for the good shops. If you don't want to do the legwork, you can shop online. The stock won't be as varied, & it will be ALOT more expensive, but it's available. Personally, I would pick out some great bottles that can be stored for a while & package them up myself.
