Anyone have experiece with the Sears 'Master Protection' Warranties?

Recently bought the Panasonic 50" LCD Rear Projection TV from Sears. We also opted for their 5yr Extended Warranty...but the ext. warr. was a WHOPPING $600! (Extending the warranty on my new car to 5yrs 75k miles cost only a little more than that!)

Does anyone have experiences, good or bad with Sears and their 'Master Protection' warranty? This TV is going to be put through it's paces; it's gonna be on for a minimum of 12hours a day and it's still very new technology and so on...I definitely believe an EX is the right thing to do, I'm just still cringing about the cost of it.
