I received a defective DVD box set (2 of one disc, another missing) and received a response from the "crap hole" support within 24 hours and had the replacement box a couple of days later.

Perhaps you were hostile and inarticulate in your original complaint as well as here and they couldn't figure out what you were asking them to do?

Would it have anything to do with the mouse?

I knew it!
Greetings from Amazon.com.

We are responding to a recent request concerning your account. For
security reasons, we can only send order information to the e-mail
address that is associated with the account. For this reason, I am
sending my reply to this e-mail address (nyelcap@hotmail.com),
rather than the feedback company from which the request was sent.

If you need to write to us again, please write from this address.

We have chosen to augment our customer service capabilities by
outsourcing Daksh.com, a company in India whose commitment to
efficient, high-quality customer service matches our own.

Please note that we continue to hire new representatives and grow our
U.S. customer service centers in Tacoma, WA; Grand Forks, ND; and
Huntington, WV.

Our reasons for choosing Daksh.com are many. Since Amazon.com's
customers come from all over the world, we felt that the location of
Daksh.com--in a time zone 12 hours from our Seattle headquarters--
would help to ensure that someone is always ready to respond to a
customer's inquiry. In addition, India has an abundance of highly
educated workers who are fluent in English. And Amazon.com will be
working closely with Daksh.com to train its employees in the high
standards of customer service that our customers have come to expect.

Thank you for your comments. We hope to see you again at Amazon.com.

Best regards,

Robert Rowland
