Anyone have Celiac Disease

Celiac Disease: is a digestive disorder. It is characterised by damage or flattening to all or part of the villi lining the small intestine, causing scar tissue that cannot absorb nutrients. This damage is caused by exposure to gluten and related proteins found in wheat, rye, malt, barley and oats.

If so, how were you diagnose?

One of my clients is going through a really rough time with it. His wife was recently diagnosed with it and has changed their entire diet.
It takes some adjustments but it can be overcome.

Don't just look for wheat or gluten. It can be tricky looking for ingredients. Anything that says "modified food starch" is most likely derived from wheat. You can find that in most processed foods, deli meats, yogurt, and some beverages.

Definitive diagnosis is done with a biopsy, there is a less accurate test done on blood samples.

Seems Celiac Sprue is significantly underdiagnosed in the general population.
