I was reminded of this by a thread about allofmp3.com a while back. I've been looking for an excuse to sign up, but with their selection, I'm having trouble actually finding 7 CDs (let alone 12) to get all at once.

They don't seem to have a new album that I want, Kanye West's College Dropout, and they say that many times retail stores have new music before they do. I wouldn't care, if it wasn't for this album! They don't have the Ultra Chilled albums, 01 through 04, which are high on the list of things I should have bought years ago.

These are really the only things I've specifically looked for, aside from Jay-Z's newest one, but it leads me to question the sort of selection they have. Is it mostly pop and rock sort of stuff, or what?

Also, I note that some CDs (the Black Album) are marked as "members only", or something like that, which I'm going to assume means you can't get them as a free CD, even after you're a member.

The selection is erratic, not like Amazon or DeepDiscountCD where if it's available they have it -- but $9 shipped (for the every-month buy-one-at-$20-get-2-free-for-shipping deal) beats $13-15.

If you join consider it a supplement to a real CD store, not a replacement. Also, if you like classical the classical club has a good selection (but not prefect there either).
