I have it and think it's an excellent board. Run this badboy with a GeForce 4 Ti4400, 512 MB RAM, and an AXP 1800. The Alpha PAL 8450 fits too. Setup was a breeze, first time I ever plugged in all components and installed the OS on the first try, I attribute that to the nForce chipset.

The only possible problem I have are somewhat random reboots and BSODs. I could go days without any problems and then some days reboot twice during a heavy gaming session. I think it's due to my CPU running around 57 degrees C but have been too lazy to try and bring the temps down, reseating the PAL is a biotch. I also have the FSB and GeForce slightly OCed and the memory timings at 2,2,2 Turbo, may be the cheap OCZ ram I got.

I definitely recommend this board. Have you considered the Abit NV7 133R? Seems to have the same as the Asus and more, with the USB 2.0 and RAID.

Solid board, although, I would get the NV7-133R or EPoX 8k3a+ that have better features and in the 8k3a+'s case similar ocing. With the NV7-133R however, its ocing is weak compared to the A7N266-C.

I'd go with the EPOX 8K5A2+ for $102+shipping@Mwave, it has RAID, USB 2.0, 6channel audio, 1/5divider, DDR333, and can reads temps from the socket thermistor for older CPUs or from the XP's diode, not to mention if you decide to overclock, it does it among the best ;)

The A7N-266-C sux!!!! Take is from me, I know. :D Ask DAPUNISHER, he knows it too....

Crap can't even run any OS for more than a few mins with the IDE controller enabled!!!
Can't play a game for more than a few minutes in WinME before it locks up completely.

I'll soon throw this one out with yesterday's garbage.

I hope Nvidia goes bankrupt before Q4 2002. ;)

LMAO :D It ain't that bad! I've had some issues with the Nforce but all except for the MAC controller I resolved and a Lan card I had laying around got me around that. I would definitely take the Epox board over it in a heartbeat though ;)

So when the Epox comes with KT400, Serial ATA. (AGP 8x USB 2.0, etc), 1/5 and 1/6 divider, one should consider buy that aswell? ;)
