anyone have any openid experience? opinions?

Unless your catering to an audience that would understand what it is its kinda difficult to implement.
I never had any luck implementing it myself because as soon as I'd make any headway someone would complain about not having an account and it being too difficult to figure out and setup.

i think about 15% of the current userbase would either understand or immediately hop on board.

give or take 5% haha

I think a lot more would start using openid within 6 months

the userbase is about 100k shy of a million

edit: it would also be optional of course.
