Only difference know to this date is that the Northbridge will be named CE instead of CD and will be out Q1 next year with an enhanced memory controller. Most likely meaning DDR400 support. Doesn't mean much since an optomized 166/166 will be faster than 166/200. If you ask me I'd rather run in sync at 166/166.

If the KT400A is indeed a dual channel DDR solution then it will be a good indication that VIA is worried about the nForce2, since VIA has previously been an advocate of sticking with single channel DDR on the Athlon XP platform. We're still waiting for confirmation on the accuracy of this sticker as it could just be a misprint, but considering the accuracy of everything else we saw at the FIC suite we're lead to believe that it just may be true.
I am glad that I waited.... ABIT or EPoX should break out a killer board soon.... ;)

EDIT:
If you ask me I'd rather run in sync at 166/166.
I have been running my 8K5A2+ @ 200+ from the start... The only trouble has been that my Radeon 9700 does not like the high AGP bus, even with the 1/5 divider. I have been running the 128MB 8500 instead, which holds up to it. Dual Channel DDR400 is just the ticket I have been waiting for. :) Of course the 9700 is right at home in my IT7/1.8A @ 2900MHz rig, but will probably end up in a KT400A system if it pans out. ;)
