Anyone have any info on list servers???

Like how to set one up??? Or what software package to use??? Free ones are always good 🙂, but if it costs money we can do that too.
Our primary platform is NT4, but we are open to other platforms/suggestions.

if you are in a university setting they might run one, thats what our univ does.

if you are running an exchange server, you could alway make a group and pick your members, kinda like a one addy that goes to all of them.

You could always go with services like egroups, coollist, listbot, milomail, etc etc etc

Or you could install the de facto standards for true mailing list software: listserv or majordomo (if you get perl running).

Thanks for the info. The exchange thing crossed my mind (easier to setup), but it would be more fun to set up a real one. I'll see what they want to do.
