are the traces ripped? i can't see with your picture.

if they are you'll have to scrape off some of the kapton until you get to metal and then solder a strand or ribbon of wire onto the torn sides. or you may be able to jump the torn area with a blob of solder.

Yea I tore everything.

I'm not seeing any real traces or possibly I tore them off completely. Sucks cause its a $5 fix but with the holiday I have no chance of getting anything quick.

ouch.

are the traces fat? are there only two or three? that would make it real easy to fix.

Ooooh.....how big are the traces?

Bad things can happen if you short out a li-ion or li-poly battery.

How good are your soldering skills? That would be really damn hard to fix but you can always just solder the 2 ends together if u can see them. I'd just buy a new battery if you want to be safe. Your battery looks beat to hell anyways, did you drop your phone or something?

Hm, can't really see too well from the pics. :\

Doesn't look like many traces though.

You'd have to scrape the soldermask off to expose the bare copper, and then solder some fine wires to it, and then do the same on the other cable.

Though if it were up to me, I wouldn't do anything with it until the replacement gets here. I'd rather not personally find out if that whole "LiPos can burst into flames when shorted" thing is true. ;)
