I was looking online and found this recipe page and the Shrimp in Cilantro sauce sounds awesome as does coconut shrimp on romaine lettuce. (I have no romaine lettuce, so that's out of the question).

Any ideas? or suggestions. I will be making some rice too. ( Off Topic: Natalie Imbuglia is hot.. lol .. i'm watchin her 'Torn video')

Make Pad Thai!!

Cook some chopped green onions (or scallions) and garlic quickly in a little bit of oil (peanut oil is good if you have some) over med-med. high heat. Add your shrimp. After the shrimp is cooked, add some soy sauce (or fish sauce if you have it), ketsup, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, a spoonful of peanut butter, and a little bit of brown sugar. Add some cooked rice noodles (the ones that are about as wide as fettucine) and mix well. Turn off the heat. Mix in one egg (stir it in quickly so you don't get bits of scrambled egg). Serve topped with chopped peanuts and lime wedges on the side (to squeeze over the top).

Some people also put in bean sprouts or other veggies. It's an easy dish for modifying to fit your tastes.

It's really good!

I bet it is good too!
I don't have green onions.

I'm leaning towards 2 dishes tointe.
1) Good old fashion shrimp curry
2) still trying to decide...
I'm off to ground some spices to make a curry powder base, mince onions and wash the fresh cilantro i bought yesterday.. i will check back soon :)

I steamed some jumbo shrimp and covered them with pesto sauce as an appetizer and they were very good. I got the recipe from the Food Channel site.

Actually thats a quality i would love my future bride-to-be to have. (poor woman's out there.. i just gotta find her.. lol)
When i was a teen, we had a freind of the family stay over with us for a couple of weeks (she had just separated from her husband and was gettin her sh!t together)... and she knew how to cook... Every meal was so much of a big deal and tasted like heaven. That's why i learned to cook.. it's so damn satisfying !
