Anyone have any experience with USPS delivering to Canada?

Ive ordered a computer($1300 USD) from the USA. Ive selected USPS delivery, and am contemplating switching to UPS if necessary. But I want to know if anyone here has experience with USPS and how it went. 🙂 This would really help me out.
 
USPS is good. Took almost a couple weeks on Parcel Post for my stuff to get to him I think, but it was because of where I lived in relation to where he lived distance-wise.

However, his payment was lost by USPS and he had to go through a lot to get me the money, including fronting double the cost of the items. 🙁
