Anyone have any experience with the Matrox TripleHead2Go?

The idea of three monitors that I can actually span to gether intrigues me, and since Nvidia decided not to make a possible SLI mode....

I use a Matrox Parhelia 256MB for my video editing with 3 Dell LCDs.
I plan to retire 2 older CRTs and get a 2405 to replace two of the Dell lcds.

Having 3 windows open on 3 monitors is unique but not really practical.
The only disadvantage is the split between two monitors when viewing a single desktop.
The perfect solution is duals, 1-standard and 1-24". In my case, an 18" + 24".

Yeah, but the problem with duals is that in super-widescreen gaming, you've got that lame split down the middle.

Yes, I agree that for gaming the split down the middle is not condusive for enjoyment. Yes, a wide screen 24' or even a 30" is the way to go.

Depends what kind of gaming? For driving games for example, I'd say triple monitors would be ideal. One center, then two peripheral vision monitors. Obviously having them all as 24" widescreens would make it even easier to 'put up with' 😀
