anyone have any experience with entourage for macs using exchange?

we're having major problems. have tried all of the updates, all of the spotlight suggestions, and still we have people who get repeated spinning beachballs while doing anything in entourage at any point. it seems totally random at this point, and neither microsoft nor apple is offering a fix. any ideas?
 
Is this in a AD enviroment?

What errors are you seeing in the EVENT or (if enabled) Exchange Log?

What version of Exchange?
 
we do use ad, exchange 2003. i'll find out what (if any) errors are being recorded in the logs, but i'm not sure if there are any.
