Anyone have any experience with car storage lifts?

Possibly looking to get one for the garage. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, its a four post lift that allows you to put one car on top of the other for storage. We have the Z3 which we don't use too often, so it would be nice to get it out of the way and free up some garage space. The Z3 would drive onto the lift, then get lifted up and another car would pull underneath it. Anyone have any experience with these? Any tips or pointers? Thanks....

Well, both the two and four post lifts each have their own merits. One thing you will need is head room, I would suggest at least a 12' ceiling. Also to mount the lifts in place safely, I think most places recommend a 6" slab of concrete, so this may involve some digging up/jack hammering so you can re-pour to 6" Also, lifts themselves run at least 2-3k and about 6-7k for a quality one.
