So I decided to send some flowers on the 6th to my gf at her dorm because that's the day she goes back to school, etc.. I'm wondering if anyone else has done this and has any kind of suggestion for a place to order, over the net, or local, etc.? I've looked at 1800Flowers.com and they say that they do not deliver to PO boxes, which, are basically what exist for those who live in dorms, no? I remember living in the dorms freshman year and I still recall people receiving flowers at the post office in the commons building, should I ignore this warning or what? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I've use 100flowers.com and had good results. I don't know about a drom. Try calling a local shop

You should be fine. As far as I know they will deliver to the front desk at the dorm, and the guy/girl at the desk will call her and ask her to pick them up.

Calling a local place would help, my guess is they could tell you if they'll deliver to dorms or not.

The dorm I live in has a real address (the commons building) where packages for residents are delivered. It'd be pretty strange for a dorm to have an actual PO Box as a mailing address. I think you'll be fine.

Ordered flowers when I was dating my future wife. I usually preferred to call a local florist as they generally now the college/university.

I use Pro Flowers:

I've used 1800flowers.com in the past, but I had a bad experience with them last month, plus my fiancee says Pro Flowers ships the flowers better. No problems sending to her dorm.
