About 5 years ago I bought some Obutto driving chair. It's been so long, I don't even remember the name.

Anyway, it's built well and is very sturdy. Everything has held up over the years...but it's really only got about 6-8 months of steady use for various reasons.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their products if you're at all interested. The only negative is the size and portability. Other than that, no issues at all.

If I were to get one I'd likely replace my computer desk entirely...I still haven't bought a decent office chair, so I wouldn't have to worry about re-homing that. I just found a R3volution with triple monitor stand locally for $700. I am really quite tempted.

Isn't $700 about what a new one costs?
It looks like a pretty cool product but that's a big chunk of change to lay out for some metal tubing and a Recaro-style car seat. It's got me thinking about making something similar for my game room though.

Making one is easy. Making one that's ergonomically friendly and adjustable, not so much.

A new one is $735, the triple monitor stand is $130, and shipping to the east coast is about $240.

There's also an Ozone for $300, which is also tempting.

Would love to have something like that, but with force feedback included

An Ozone popped up on CL again for $275.

Now I'm really tempted. He's selling a G27 with it for another $150, but I already have a Fanatec wheel (albeit lacking pedals). I may try to pick it up this weekend.
