Anyone have an Ipod Mini?

Just wondering if anyone has an Ipod Mini, and if you do what accessories can you get for an Ipod Mini? I was wondering if most of the accessories for the regular Ipod will work with the Ipod mini, mainly the device that broadcasts FM to your car's stereo system from the Ipod so you can listen to your playlists on your Ipod through the car's stereo system.

Any other comments about the Ipod mini would be greatly appreciated. I want one for running, and the mini seems to be the best bang for my buck so far (the only downer is no FM tuner built into the Ipod to listen to the radio).

Thanks

I'd have to disagree with you on your comment on best bang for the buck. For a few dollars more you can still get a 15GB 3G iPod instead of the Mini's 4GB. That has been the knock against the Mini since its introduction.

As far as accessories go, yes you can use some accessories for the iPod with the Mini, but they will look awkward when connected to the Mini. There are Mini verions of the regular iPod accessores, Griffini Mini iTrip. Oddly, the Mini's accessories are a bit more expensive than the same accessory for the regular iPod.

The thing is going for a run, and the regular ipod is not something I'd run with. The mp3 drives out there are quite pricey compared to the mini, so all in all the mini has a better price point that the regular mp3 players out there that only have 128MB and cost $100 (canadian dollars here).

😀

I thought the mini was dumb mainly because it is not much smaller than the ipod when you look at the dimensions on paper but when my friend got one for his birthday I tried it out and I must say the smaller size is really nice. I also like the click wheel a lot more than the buttons on the 3g ipods because it is faster and you don't have to take your eyes off the screen at all.

But according to the Apple website, the Mini also uses are hard drive, not solid state memory like the smaller, cheaper, flashed based MP3 players.

Regardless, people run with their regular iPods all the time, most of them use something like this.
