Anyone have a Zalman CNPS-series cooler on a Socket 370/A cpu?

Seriously, doesn't that single-clip scare the unholy bejesus out of you? I don't want to hang 500 grams of copper off all six plastic lugs, let alone two.

I'm just looking for some reassuring stories. I wouldn't need a heavy-duty one - hell, the CNPS3100 would probably do it. Unfortunately, I can't find the -GP version. Nothin like a little Bling in the computer case. :D

It's scary to me too. That's why I use a Thermalright SLK800 on my S370 board. At least it uses all the socket lugs to clip onto. Going on 6 months now without any trouble.

I had a zalman CNPS 5000 when they first came out........it was a thru the mobo mount however it was a thing of beauty was able to cool just as good as any alpha or swiftech unit and yet remain very quiet........then you strap a 60mm delta on it and it was terrible the fin design made the sound alot louder and more annoying but it cooled very damn good
