I've been thinking about buying one. I love the retro look and the sound quality is supposed to be awesome. The tuner is supposed to be very strong as well.

I'm debating between the Model 1 and PAL. The PAL is smaller and has a built in NiMH battery. The sound quality on the Model 1 is well praised and I'm worried the PAL won't sound as nice.

I can get both for the same price, but I can't decide :(

I have the Model 2 (stereo version) and the Model 3 (alarm clock). The audio quality is very good and the tuner design is great also. I have an iRiver hooked up to the aux in and it sounds great.

I would not recommend the Model 3 because the clock face is inset too far. It makes it nearly impossible to read the time unless you're directly in front of the clock. Not to mention some other smaller design issues with it.

I have a model 1 on my desk, running my Archos Jukebaox through it. Sound quality is excellent. The tuner is quite good too, but in this building, NOTHING gets through (ugh). Everyone comments on how good the sound quality is, though, when they stop in my cube.

cool. thanks for the input guys. i'm leaning towards the Model 1 for the sound quality and the more retro look.

We have the Model 1 in the kitchen, works fine for low-level listening. Looks cool and gets good reception.
