If it works and they are offering you $28. I would care less about the seal being broken.

This.... This is why I was shaking my head, not because of the oxidation. The card works fine and they were offering you $28 to keep it. On top of all that, you have the factory warranty if anything were to arise and you still returned it... Also you stated that they packaging was really messed up. As far as the picture shows, I don't see how it was really messed up. Opened... yes definately. Messed up, no.

I agree with being upset that the card was not "new" but you were getting 10% off and a full warranty.

The seal area looked pretty bad. Here's a pic:

It's probably nothing but I wanted to by absolutely sure (even for $28, which is not too small a sum of money (10% of the item)).

That could happen in packaging and shipping.
