Anyone have a Samsung refrigerator?

How do you like it and has it been trouble free? We are looking at bottom freezer refrigerators to replace our 13 year old side by side and have narrowed the choices down to a couple of Kenmore Elites with excellent ratings on Consumer Reports and a couple of Samsungs that haven't been rated by Consumer Reports.

I bought a Samsung side-by-side fridge back in 09-2004. Five years, no problems whatsoever!

I got it 'cause it was priced really well next to models with the same features ... and I liked the techy temperature on-front ...

Yep got one and its awesome. Its a stainless steel one but just has the normal top fridge/bottom freezer layout instead of the retarded side by side design most people seem to have these days.

Goin on 5 or 6 years... looks good works good... GF has the same model actually.

And if someone could tell me the use of power freeze/cool I'd like to know it because I don't know what good -8 vs -2 in a freezer or 34 vs 38 in a fridge is.
