I have a veiled chameleon. She's in a large screen cage with a custom made (by me) automatic misting system. She eats crickets, meal worms, wax worms or any other insect she can get her hands on. She's living on a Sheffelera plant and basks all day under her heat lamp and UVA/B light. I'm going to get another chameleon (probably a panther) soon too.

SO CUTE!!!!!

LOL Viper :D

Yah, it's a bad pic, i took it with a webcam cause i don't have a real camera. They're not hard to take care off but they do require certain things that normal pets don't. They are dew drinkers and wont drink from standing water so you have to make sure to mist their cage 3 times or more a day (that's why i got the auto misting system). You do have to make sure the crickets and other insects are well fed because the lizard eats what they eat (makes the bugs yummier). But, other than providing a real plant (sheffelera or ficus are most popular, has to be non-toxic as some chams as mine does will eat the leaves), that's about it. Just do your homework before considering getting one. Good beginner chams are veileds and panthers because they don't require high levels of humidity and are a little more forgiving to any care mistakes.
