anyone have a pioneer a/104 and upgrade to an a/106?

Were you able to read your 1x burns w/ the x04 on the x06? how about 2x burns?

Your post does not make sense to me. I have a 104 and have flashed it to version 1.41 firmware. This allows me to burn at 2X. It also allows the use of 4x media at 2x, but I have not actually tried that yet.
