Anyone have a Pioneer 16x DVD drive?

Hi I received one today and I was just wondering how far the cd ejects on the one you are using.

I have the slot load, and it'll shoot the cd clear across the room. Probably take my 3-year old's head off, if I'm not careful.

hehe, I have the tray version, but I heard those slot ones can be dangerous. I think the record for the longest shot is around 15 meters...😉

Maybe I was lucky, mine only pushes the cd out about 2/3 of the way.

Yeah, it took me three broken windows before I got smart and rotated the PC a little. Now I'm just not sure what to do about the holes in the wall.

Got it and it's all good. Ejects 2/3 of the way.

My slot load doesn't shoot out..but it occasionally falls on the floor.

put a strip of tape accross the slot...that should help catch it before it falls

actually it sounds like a return is in your future...it should drop 2/3 is normal and what should be expected...

Atleast yours ejects. My tray loading 16x ejects only when it's in the mood and only after I use a jackhammer on the eject button.
