A screenshot will unfortunately not help all that much, as one cannot extrapolate how the display projects that particular screen image in its own dimensions; in other words, 1920x1200 (which is most likely the correct resolution to which you are referring) appears differently on displays of differing sizes.Originally posted by: Kaido
I'm curious as to what it would look like. If you have a desktop screenshot or a photo of a laptop with a 1900x1200 screen, please post a link. I'm interested to see how small the stuff really is.

In order to infer what you are seeking, one would require a well taken photograph, most likely. Better yet, visit an electronics retailer or reseller. Most of the larger entities should have a machine (most likely, one of the Vaios) with a WUXGA display, though it will most likely be of the 17" variety (you did not specify which size display, only the resolution).
Based on the screen size, believe the model of Hypersonic machine you are considering is the CQ6 (only model utilizing the a 15.4" display). If such is the case, you might instead consider the NP3790, which is precisely the same machine (both use Clevo as their ODM, model M375EW) and offers a choice of alternate resolutions: WXGA(1280x800), WSXGA+(1680x1050), and the aforementioned WUXGA(1920x1200).Originally posted by: Kaido
oh, and I'm looking at the 15.4" screens. There's a laptop from Hypersonic that I kind of like, but it's only available with a 1920x1200 15.4" screen, and I don't know if that'd be too small for me to read. I wear glasses and have my 21" CRT set to 1280x1024, which is quite comfortable for my eyes.

Judging by the specifications you list above concerning your CRT, I would strongly suggest considering at most the WSXGA+ display, and possibly even the WXGA; the WSXGA+ would most likely be a happy medium, however.
