Actually you can make your own ring tones with the ringtone composer function, there are many sites out there with TABs for songs.

My phone doesn't have the composer .. i think I can only download them.

I have the 3390 and it's similiar to it. It's a cool phone. I can compose ringtones on mine so maybe you have the same function.

Does it cost money to have ringtones sent to your phone?

fake: as I understand it, if the site doesn't charge you, they get sent as an SMS message. Cingular charges $.10 a message, but I haven't gotten my bill yet to verify that I got charged. I sent 5 ringtones to my phone - so worst case, i pay $.50 . I've heard from others that they don't really charge though.

I changed my alpha tag on my phone from "Cingular" to "Pimpin'" doing so was kind of complicated, it is partially explaned on the-mobile.net. There is no ringtone composer on the phone. The 3360 can't do graphics like the 3390 can. Oh yeah, if your interested in seeing a bunch of hidden data, type

*3001#12345#

(Be careful what you mess with in this menu, I wouldn't change stuff w/o knowing what it does)

Select field test - select enabled

Turn your phone off and back on again

There will now be a field test menu - go there and type 2101 - you will see a bunch of pages of data - scroll to the 7th-9th pages it will show you your current tower and signal strength (lower the better) There's a bunch of other info in there as well

To get back to normal mode (cleared screen) go to field test menu and type 0000

Useless but cool

Modding your phone is cool but it voids your warantee in a lot of cases...
