I actually got this camera for my Mom for Mother's Day and she loves it. Here's a few of the pro's and cons.

Pros:
-Image quality is pretty nice for 2MP
-Nice LCD controls
-Solid build
-PRICE! Picked this up for less than $200 at CompUSA
-3x optical zoom is nice

Cons:
-NO Viewfinder only LCD = drain on batteries
-The zoom lens is freakin' noisy!
-Battery life could be a bit better

Overall, I would recommend it for someone just getting started w/ digital photography and who wants decent image quality at a bargain price. However, if you want great prints, I'd recommend stepping up to 3 or 4 MP.
