I think my bios cmos setup had a kbd power on/off switch disable, so I set the KBD power up to DISABLE
Then I may have messed with
control panel - system - keyboard properties
or
control panel - keyboard properties
Do you have a short cut on your desktop to C:\WIN98\SYSTEM\MSCONFIG.EXE
click on the start up tab to see what loads when your system boots.
check/uncheck to disable
& use C:\WIN98\REGEDIT.EXE string search to remove item you don't want,
some times a ;
infront of the path\name
is the fix if it reloads it'self, this way if it searches for the item, it will find it and not reload a new instance of it.
A knoweledgable person would run the MS internet keyboard software in
start - programs - microsoft hardware - keyboard - intelli pro
and set what you want, but I imagine you've already tried that.
That's just some thoughts for you to try.
I hope you've got Win98 or my help might be useless to ya.
