Anyone have a motorola v66 cell phone?

just bought one unlocked for 65$ + 1$ ship plust 8$ for 2 year service plan at overstock....

Wondering if these things are any good... I've killed two nokias 6310's and I was wondering if anyone had had better luck with these...

I've had mine for like 2 years now and it still works great.

It is a really plain phone tho, especially nowadays.

BTW, what is the deal with "unlocked" phones?

unlocked phones can go from carrier to carrier with no bs. Aka, if you buy a phone thats unlocked, you can put it on any carrier the phone physically supports (freqs, etc) whereas if you get a phone from t-moble, it's "locked" to t-mobile

bah, go to 7-11, grab a speakeasy nokia 3200 for 59.99, its factory unlocked, and blows the v66 outta the water
my $.02

The V60 is a little more durable than the V66's plastic but its still ok, what I liked was the compact size.

That's kinda what I figured.

My dad also had his V66 for about a year and a half before it died. He's a lot more rough with his phones though, since he carries his at work.. It gets dropped and banged around more.
