There is this one in particular.
He can be totally levelheaded and cool one moment. And the next, make fun of you if you don't live up to his "ideal" way.
Particularly we disagree MAJORLY in the field of computer programming (our expertise). He always clowns me and says I'll amount to nothing while talking himself up to be this major next Linus Torvalds or Alan Cox or something of that nature with the ambition of Bill Gates--I kid you not, he keeps talking about how rich he will be in the coming years from this MAJOR project he does at work which I've seen and is nothing impressive.
I tend to think my ideas are a lot better and plan to develop them more. I don't even tell him them because I know he would belittle them some way or another. By no means do I plan on getting rich though, merely they are just nifty I think.
It is almost hilarious to listen to him go on and on and on ALL about himself like how much he makes, his car, how rich he is going to strike it and how little I know about the "real" programming world because I don't work for his small time company which is, really, a pathetic business. All the while it is "this is how much LESS than me you will make, because, you know, your not as GREAT as me" and "when are you going to buy a new car, yours sucks, my car is SO much better" and since I'm very good at doing finances and saving money (even though he probably makes triple what I do) he questions me where I get money for stuff "how can you afford that? you don't make enough". And he must put in more hours talking about his car than anyone else I know.
And yet since I moved away from home, he is the only friend around this area and I've known him for a number of years so he is fun to hang out with when we go drinkin, girl hunting, playin pool and stuff like that. Anything NOT computer related.

So anyone else have total cheesehead friends?
