I bought my Maxi Sound Fortissiomo sound card back when I got a guillemot tnt2 ultra video card and have been happy with it.. but every since I went to 2000, I cant use the surround feature of the digital output. Its fine for a 2 speaker and sub setup, but I like to have the 4 speaker surround, and I like to run it into my home theatre receiver.
I contacted guillemot and they said they are aware of this problem and that its not supported with the current drivers, and that they are working on new drivers for windows 2000.. but they havent released any drivers in over 8 months, so I dont have alot of hope for getting them anytime soon..
anyone know of alternate drivers for this soundcard that might enable these features?
